Vince and Patricia Hizon's special Christmas Charity at the White Hat

Last Saturday, Dec 6, 2008, The White Hat invited back celebrity couple Patricia & Vince Hizon to again be our guest celebrity servers. But this time, it was for a special Christmas charity event. We raised money for the orphans of HOUSE OF REFUGE, a private non-profit organization which provide a home for orphans and abandoned children. We also threw an Italian frozen yogurt party for these orphans as they came to our store for a visit and then later, PBA players of the Purefoods team dropped by to lend their support notably Mr. James Yap, Mr. Beau Belga and Mr. Richard Alonzo. They visited The White Hat as soon as their game was finished and were in time to play with the kids. Also, we treated them to free rides at a nearby ferris wheel and to a fireworks show courtesy of the Mall of Asia. It marked a special thank you that we could share our blessings to those who are less fortunate this Christmas time. People from Ms. Korina Sanchez's show RATED K, were on hand to witness and tape the event to be shown one Sunday of this December. So, do watch out for it.
